Where to sit on water attractions? Where does less splash?

Published by Mateusz Miciński on

Contrary to appearances, the first wagon on water attractions does not have to mean that we will be the most splashed on it. The intensity of the water effects is also influenced by the load on the car, and even the season and the weather. So where to sit on the water attractions in Energylandia to be the most wet, and where does it splash less? We will consider it on the example of all water attractions that can be found in Energylandia.

Where to sit on the Speed roller coaster?

The tallest and fastest water roller coaster in the world takes us up to a 50-meter tower in an elevator, from which we descend at a speed of about 100 km/h. One Speed car can accommodate up to 10 people in 5 rows of 2 people. There are 2 points on the Speed where you can get hit with water. The first is right after driving down 50 meters, and the second is at the very end of the ride.

At the first point, I was practically never splashed. Here you can only count on water mist or single drops. In the first place, we have a practically guarantee of staying dry.

The second point is quite different. It is this place that is famous for its intensive showering. The amount of water that breaks into the boat, and also splashes us, is very large. It can also be assumed that the more the boat is loaded, the more water it rises. However, from my observations, it appears that the more central part of the car is covered with the greatest amount of water. Of course, if you sit in the first one, you cannot count on them being splashed.

I saw a lot of videos on YouTube where you can see water breaking into the car up to the middle of the calves. It has never happened to me personally, but I actually imagine it is possible. Be prepared to leave Speed wet , or at worst completely wet. Those who sit down farther tend to stay wetter.

Where does the Anaconda splash the most?

There are two steep descents on Anaconda: the first 11 meters high and the second 17 meters high. The maximum speed of boats is 55 km/h. Each of the boats can accommodate up to 20 people in five rows, 4 people each.

The first point where you can interact with the water is the inflow to the first elevation as soon as you leave the station. On warm days, there are waterfalls on the right, which gently sprinkle people sitting on the right side of the boat. There is no question of getting wet here, only a slight splash.

When flowing from the first fall, we can count on a slight splash. The first row of people will rather stay dry, and the others may receive a lot of water mist in the face. The most vulnerable to splashing are people sitting on the extreme sides.

After the second canoeing trip, we will get a large dose of splashing water , and the heavier the boat, the more water it usually has. The situation is similar to the first drop, the first row is usually less splashed. However, I have never come off an Anaconda as wet as I did Speed, so the splash rate is fairly moderate.

Can we get wet on Jungle Adventure inflatable boats?

Jungle Adventure is a trip on 8-person pontoons on a rough river with a length of nearly 500 meters. On the route of attractions, numerous water effects and surprises await us, including water droplets and waterfalls. I will add right away that in spring and autumn the water current is much smaller , and the additional effects in the form of waterfalls are turned off. Therefore, we leave virtually no splashes after each crossing.

The situation changes in warm and hot days. Then the current is turned up to the maximum, and in addition, waterfalls are activated. We can get splashed for the first time after a few moments from the beginning of the kayaking trip. On one of the water faults, water can splash so much that it can even reach our heads. Remember that the pontoon is round and rotating all the time, therefore it is impossible to determine where it is worth to sit down. It is a lottery, some people will get out of the kayaking trip without getting wet, while others may be completely wet.

The next place is the sequence where the river turns left and right. There, too, the current increases and some water may penetrate the pontoon. The greatest risk of getting wet is at the very end of the rally, right behind the camera taking the picture. The last of the waterfalls is waiting for us there. The pontoon likes to swim under it, and a person who happens to be on the side of the rock will be completely flooded with water from above . Guaranteed soaking wet, sometimes even bigger than on the Speed.

Also, remember that it’s not allowed to get up on Jungle Adventure! Do not change trains, get up to avoid contact with the water, and do not try to walk on the pontoon. In extreme cases, it may even end up capsizing the entire pontoon. There are two lifeguards on Jungle Adventure. If they see you getting up, they will whistle you to warn.

Atlantis

Atlantis is a smaller version of the inflatable boats. The river, almost 500 meters long, is crossed in small 4-person pontoons. There are not many places on the rafting route where we could be heavily splashed, but there are a few surprises. The first place is to exit the platform, right after taking your place in the pontoon. It happens that some water gets into the pontoon, but only when we get wet we can have legs and seats.

Next, the rafting is scenic and relaxing. The first effects begin only a bit after the tunnel. On very warm days, there are really strong sprinklers that generate water mist in two places. We will not get wet, but relatively heavily splashed from the head down. After the sprinklers, the current is a bit stronger, but don’t worry. Splashing will not happen. At most, sometimes some water will break into the bottom of the pontoon, which can only make the shoes wet. Just like on Jungle Adventure, Atlantis is also forbidden to get up , and order is kept by lifeguards.

Toffifee Gold Mine

The Gold Mine is a trip on boats resembling wooden logs, which can be entered by up to 4 people. On the route, which is almost 150 meters long, there are two descents into the water, first the lower one, then the higher one. There is no need to count on heavy splashes here, but we have a guaranteed slight dose of cooling, especially on the second descent. The person sitting in the front, as well as taller people, are the most splashed . Adults should sit in the back and children in the front.

Splash Battle, Viking Ride and Whirlpool Water Fight

The scenic and water attractions do not splash on their own. The fun is that on board the boat we have water cannons from which we shoot people on other boats. The more people and the more boats that are occupied, the more we can get splashed. Of course, we also shoot water at others.

During Splash Battle, we must additionally watch out for guests-observers who can use a cannon located outside the attraction for PLN 5. If we are within its range, we can get really drenched.

On Viking Ride, if we want to survive the battle as long as possible, and at the same time take less part in the water battle, it is best to sit on the left side of the boat. In addition, on very warm weather, a stream of water shoots upwards on the Viking Ride every few minutes. If we are just passing the shot, we can count on a slight splash. In Whirlpool Water Fight, similar to Splash Battle, the more people, the better the water shootout.

Of course, sightseeing boats are also a great sightseeing attraction in the fall or spring season, when practically nobody uses them. Then we can be sure that we will come out of them without splashing.

I also discovered one curiosity on the Viking Ride. There is a (small) chance that if we sit on the left side, and at the same time find ourselves perfectly next to the exit from the RMF Dragon tunnel, and a roller coaster will leave the tunnel, we will gently splash people on Dragon. I have never done it before, but I have heard opinions that it is possible. Try it yourself and let us know in the comment below if you succeeded.

Where to dry off after the water attractions in Energylandia?

After such water attractions, are we forced to continue playing while being wet? Are there any dryers in Energylandia where we can dry clothes and hair?

Fortunately, Turbo Dryers have been installed at virtually every water attraction, in which for PLN 5 we can dry ourselves for 3 minutes. Where are the dryers, how to handle them and whether they are actually efficient, you will learn more in the article: Are there any dryers in Energylandia?
