The Smoczy Gród is the fifth thematic zone in the Energylandia amusement park. Its flagship attraction is the Zadra hybrid roller coaster and, since 2022, the Wonder Wheel.

The Smoczy Gród is undoubtedly the most charming zone in the Energylandia Park. It was opened in 2019 and built on a plot of 6 hectares. It has the fewest attractions, because only 6 (5 by 2022), but two of them deserve the greatest recognition. In the zone of the Smoczy Gród, referring to dragons and castles, there is also a large gastronomic zone, a small playground and beautifully tended greenery. In turn, after dark, the street lighting adds a unique atmosphere.
Attractions in Smoczy Gród
The main attraction of the Smoczy Gród is the world’s highest hybrid roller coaster called Zadra. Some people say “splinter” without knowing why. Zadra’s parameters are second only to Hyperion, but there is nothing to be ashamed of. 121 km/h is top speed, 62.8 meters high, 1,316 meters long and a 90-degree gradient. The intensity of the ride even surpasses Hyperion.
In my personal ranking of attractions in Energylandia, it is Zadra that takes 1st place. Its majesty, aggressiveness, speed and intensity mean that in less than 2 minutes of the ride we get a huge dose of adrenaline and strong fun.

How to get to the Smoczy Gród?
The Smoczy Gród is the penultimate zone of Energylandia. To get there, go from the entrance to the park through the family zone, heading for the Formula One roller coaster. In this part you will reach a tunnel under the road, after which you will see on the right the beautiful zone of the Smoczy Gród with the Wonder Wheel and then Zadra. The entrance to the Sweet Valley zone is on the left.
After passing the mill wheel over your heads, the wagons, in my opinion, will be the best viewing attraction of Dragon Adventure. After passing through the main gate of the Smoczy Gród, you will find yourself in its main courtyard, where there are numerous dining options, souvenir shops and toilets. In autumn, there are haunted houses in this place, and in winter you can meet Santa Claus here and go ice skating. Turning right you can reach two attractions: the Draken rollercoaster and the Fuego carousel. At the end of the zone, on the left is the entrance to Frida, and to the right to Zadra. And here I would like to add right away that from the entrance to Zadra to the station itself, there is probably the longest distance to go, about 500 meters.
The design of the Smoczy Gród zone
In my opinion, the Smoczy Gród in Energylandia is the prettiest and coziest zone. The greenery around the central square is nicely arranged, the sounds of birds / dragons from Zadra add to the atmosphere, and the buildings look great. The downside of the zone is a large crowd of people in the season, you have to literally wade through the central square or immediately turn right and walk behind Zadra.
