Do attractions in Energylandia work when it is raining?
Many people ask themselves whether to go on a trip to Energylandia when rainfall is predicted, or even worse, thunderstorms. It’s hard to answer unequivocally, because a lot depends on our predispositions and resistance to bad weather. It is also known that driving across Poland for 1-2 days to Energylandia we expect good weather so that we can have fun and not sit under a roof. In that case, is it worth going to the park in bad weather and do the attractions in Energylandia work in the rain? Storm? Strong wind?
Energylandia in spring, autumn or winter – is it worth it?
In spring and autumn we have definitely more rainy days than in summer. Also, especially on spring days, Poland is hit by storms, which have become stronger in recent years. However, if our trip to Energylandia in spring or autumn is one of many of the year, then showers should not be a problem. You can always put on a baseball cap, take an umbrella or wear a foil raincoat. In the event of heavy rainfall, wait in one of the roofed restaurants or rest areas.
Rainfall forecasts also herald a small number of people in the park. Thanks to this, we will be almost sure that we will use everything without queuing. It will be different when heavy rain clouds draw in and it will rain all day. Unfortunately, such weather is not pleasant anymore and the fun in Energylandia will end soon and we will leave the park unsatisfied.
In winter, in turn, we can expect cold and frosty days or snowfall. However, this is not a period when we could not have fun in Energylandia. Contrary to appearances, good clothing, gloves, a balaclava or even ski goggles will provide us with great fun on winter days. The winter decor of Energylandia, the hearths and coke ovens will keep you warm, and the low attendance of guests will ensure queuing use of the roller coaster. In freezing weather, some attractions may not work, and the entire Water Park and water attractions are closed.

Do attractions in Energylandia operate when it is raining?
Yes! In spring, autumn and summer, all attractions are open, even when it is raining. The devices are properly manufactured and prepared to work in such difficult conditions. While you can have fun during a drizzle, it is not so pleasant during the usual rainfall. Water drops hitting our face feel like hundreds of needles sticking deep into the skin. In turn, drops that hit the eyes can even damage the eyes. So let’s put on ski goggles, pull the hood tight or wear a balaclava. During a downpour or hail, attractions may already be turned off.
Do attractions in Energylandia operate during a storm?
Not. All outdoor attractions are turned off when an impending lightning storm is visible on the horizon. The only exceptions are attractions in buildings , such as Monster House or 7D Cinema. Personally, I encourage you to wait out the storm in one of the restaurants in the building. The storm is usually a short-lived and local phenomenon. So you can safely assume that it should be completed within several dozen minutes. So we do not have to rush to leave and return home, if there are still many hours until the closure of Energylandia.
Do attractions in Energylandia operate during strong winds?
Strong winds are a threat to tall structures. Of course, we are talking about a situation without a storm, but only strong gusts of wind. Especially that Zator is located relatively close to the mountain range. Therefore, it is exposed to frequent strong winds.
The only attraction that I know that it is turned off when the wind exceeds 70 km / h is the Space Booster (apparently it has built-in wind sensors that prevent the device from being activated during strong winds). I do not know any other data on the wind resistance of attractions. I suspect that Aztec Swing, Tsunami Drop, Zadra, Abyssus or Hyperion can also be turned off with really strong gusts of wind exceeding 80-90 km / h. However, there is no need to worry in advance. Such a strong wind is rare.
